The NEDP Program, coordinated nationally, aims to develop and provide athletes for Australian Canoeing’s Sprint Kayak National elite pathways.
NEDP Talent ID testing aims to test athletes who are new to the sport – never competed at Australian Canoe Sprint Championships.
No previous kayaking experience is necessary
Surf ski paddlers are eligible, this program is run in conjunction with SLSA’s The Next Wave program
Testing is open to prospective athletes 13 to 20 years of age
All athletes who meet minimum selection requirements, have not previously competed at an Australian Canoeing Sprint Canoe National Championships will then be |
