The Australian Canoeing Ocean Racing Technical Committee has recommended to the Board that Australia send a team to the 2013 Ocean Racing World Championships in Portugal
The 2013 World Championship will held in July.
If the reccomendation is accepted it would be the first time that Australia has had an Ocean Racing National Team.
The Team Selection Policy and the opening of Team nominations will follow the official approval of the proposal.
