When/Where/Why did you begin the sport? I started racing at the age of 7, because my step brothers were World Champions and I wanted to be one to.
Greatest Sporting Achievement? 5th in K4 500 at the 2011 World Championships.
What are your future goals? To win an Olympic medal.
What keeps you busy outside of Kayaking? My two boys, Lachie (5) and Finn (3).
Greatest Influence on Career? Kovacs from Hungary. She had a strong and awesome technique and was unbeatable for some time, during the time when I was a new comer to the senior team.
Which athlete do you fear/respect the most? I never fear any athletes, but I always respect all my competitors.
Who/what inspires you? The goal to get a gold medal and my husband (coach).
Favourite Olympic Memory? When I was 8 years old watching my step brothers take go on the plane to the Olympics, and then watching them on TV.
How would your best friend describe you? Outgoing, a joker, energetic and understanding.
Favourite Australian Personality? Australian swimming champion Libby Trickett.
Best Advice you've ever received? Don’t give up.. Ever!
Education/Employment? I am a qualified Radiographer. I studied a Bachelor (Hons) of Science (Diagnostic Radiography)
