When/Where/Why did you begin this sport? I started kayaking in 2001 after being selected in the Talent Identification squad.
Greatest Sporting Achievement? Selection to the 2012 Olympic Team and a bronze medal & 5th place at the 2011 World Championships.
What are your future goals? To win an Olympic gold medal.
What keeps you busy outside of Kayaking? Studying to become a paramedic, baking, trips to the coffee shop & hanging out with friends.
Greatest Influence on your career? Previous coaches Guy Wilding and Christine Duff.
Which competitor do you respect/fear most? Respect everyone, fear no one.
Who inspires you? Former surfing champion Layne Beachley.
If you were not a Kayaker what would you be? A paramedic or Pro Surfer.
Favourite Olympic childhood memory? In 1996 when I was 8 year old, I cut out all the pictures and articles in the newspaper of Aussie athletes and kept them in a book as I thought the athletes were all so amazing.
Best Advice you've ever received? Don’t fear to dream big.
Education/Employment? Graduate Diploma of Clinical Practice (Paramedic) at Charles Sturt University.
