When/Where/Why did you begin kayaking? After watching the Kayaking at the Sydney Olympics, I loved it and new that was the pinnacle of paddling.
Greatest Sporting Achievement? Winning K4 1000 Gold at London Olympics.
What keeps you busy outside of Kayaking? Ski coaching at BMD Northcliffe Surf Club.
Greatest Influence on Career? Pat O’Keefe, Mum and wife Rachel.
Which athlete do you respect/fear the most? I respect the Germans the most. They are the bench mark in our sport and have been for a long time.
Who inspires you? ABC's Australian Story.
Favourite Olympic memory? The 2008 opening ceremony. It was insane walking out in front of a packed stadium in Beijing.
Favourite Australian Personality? Stephanie Gilmore, Grant Hackett and Shane Warne.
Best Advice you've ever received? Winning is a by- product of good preparation.
