Dan Hall and Ben Maynard - TIS Wildwater Training Camp, Brady's Sam Lyons, Thursday, 24 April 2008 Australia's fastest whitewater paddlers prepare for the World Championships The Australian Wildwater Team spent the weekend at Brady's regaining familiarity with fast whitewater in preparation for the World Wildwater Championships to be held in Italy in June. Brady's lived up to it's reputation as a very challenging course with not every run going to plan, however significant improvement was achieved by every paddler over the weekend. Team members Mathew French, Ben Maynard, Stew Bennett and Dan Hall will represent Australia at the World Championships, in Ivrea Italy, in the classic, rapid sprint and teams events, as well as World Cup races in the Czech Republic and Austria.
