When/Where/Why did you begin the sport?
In late 2006 I joined Secret Harbour SLSC wanting to paddle skis and with the dream of completing the Avon Descent.
Greatest sporting achievement?
Gold at the Australian Sprint Championships 200m PC K1 and then 6th at the Worlds.
What are your future goals?
To medal at my next international race and eventually to win the first ever PC K1 Paralympic Gold in 2016.
Greatest influence on your career to date?
Chris Booocock, he first begain giving me tips just before my first AVON and has been a huge support since.
What keeps you busy outside of the sport?
Work, I fly in/fly out. I'm also involved with voluntary clubs such as Rotary and SLSC.
Who inspires you?
The people i train with, the level of commitment they show is usually inspirational.
Have you had any success in other sports?
Rowed at National level as a Lightweight!
Favourite Australian personality?
I think John Williamson is a great ambassador and sings a lot of songs that touch Australian hearts.
