The National School Championships came to a close with Ivanhoe Grammar maintaining its grip on the overall schools title.
Ivanhoe Grammar (VIC) was once again the champion school as the National Schools Championships came to a close following the downriver sprint on the Goulburn River in Eildon Victoria.
Robert McIntyre, Terrigal High School, and Jessica Fox, Blaxland High, were the individual category winners in the downriver event which consisted of two runs added together over a 600m course. Fox and Jaxon Merritt (Ivanhoe) were the respective individual champions in senior girls and senior boys with Rebecca Mann, Catholic College Bendigo, and Daniel Watkins, Sacred Heart College in Tasmania, picking up the junior honours.
The overall individual results included the downriver sprint and the best two individual slalom events.
