The Loco breaks the ice
 Looking good Robin Bell under wraps and on a mission in Prague tests out his new design - the 'Loco' Photos of the Loco on the Prague course. Thought I would send these photos through to show the new boat and that I actually did try it out in Prague. Thanks to financial support from the AIS, I was able to travel to Galasport and work with Vlada on my new design. Unfortunately, I forgot to check out the weather forecast and had to break icicles off the poles to get under them at the start of each training. Never want to do that again! The 'Loco' is a good all-round boat. Nice and wide for stability and has a fair bit of volume so you can paddle the Prague course without getting wet. I found the boat still got under the poles comfortably without the ice and that it is faster than Stefan Pfanmoeller's boat!! Cheers Rob | ||||
